Interest rates are one of the main monetary policy instruments that significantly influence national economic stability. Changes in interest rates affect investment, consumption decisions, and economic competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the relationship between interest rate fluctuations and national economic development, including their impact on GDP growth, inflation levels, and employment. Using a quantitative approach, data were analyzed based on national macroeconomic indicators. The study results reveal a negative relationship between rising interest rates and economic growth, driven by reduced investment and domestic consumption.
